Job Summary
The Systems Engineering Team Lead (STL) at OSI Maritime Systems is responsible for mentoring a team of engineers and overseeing Systems Engineering functions. Key duties include supporting project management to resolve inefficiencies, maintaining the Systems Engineering Development Lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with ISO 900 regulations. Relevant experience in Systems Engineering principles, leadership, and marine electronics is required, along with a degree in Engineering or a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
- Experience in Systems Engineering including applying SE principles, standards and best practices
- Experience in teaching, mentoring or otherwise leading a team of professionals
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in marine electronics and integrated bridge systems
- Experience in defense or government domain, preferably in naval ship sector
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Consistent personal improvement practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Requirements
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a location relevant security clearance
- Willingness and ability to travel
