Team Lead – Software Platform Engineering

Job Summary
Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of 8–12 engineers; own the platform roadmap and its execution as the Technical Product Owner; deliver a frictionless, self-service developer experience; embed security, compliance, and best practices into the platform by default; leverage AI to enhance developer productivity and platform capabilities; drive adoption and alignment with architecture and platform strategy within a global organization; report to the Global Head of Platform and collaborate with a leadership team to shape BEUMER’s software ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master in computer science or related field
- proven experience leading a software engineering team (formal or informal)
- strong grasp of modern development (DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native, security)
- experience applying AI/automation to improve developer workflows or platforms
- ability to connect technology, product, and people
- strong stakeholder management in a global setup
- passion for simplicity, usability, and developer experience
