Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a high-performing culture while balancing technical delivery with coaching. Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and deliver engineering work, providing guidance throughout the software development lifecycle. Help design scalable, secure solutions, drive best practices like code reviews and testing, and support recruitment and career development for team members. Remove blockers to ensure timely delivery and collaborate across teams for organizational alignment. Monitor performance to identify process improvements. This hands-on leadership role supports Ministry Brands' global AI R&D hub as it executes a multi-year AI-native transformation of its product portfolio for over 95,000 customers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading or mentoring software engineering teams in an Agile environment
- Strong software development background with experience in .NET, React, React Native, and other similar technologies
- Strong background working in both the Azure and AWS cloud platforms
- Experience delivering cloud-based SaaS applications
- Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering best practices, and modern development methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience coaching engineers and supporting their professional development
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for building high-performing teams
