Job Summary
Implement product decisions and maintain cloud infrastructure hosted in Docker, Kubernetes, and Nomad. Build and expand distributed systems written in Go using NATS, Postgres, Redis, and gRPC to change data flow and collect analytics for large datasets. Monitor server-side performance, write unit, integration, and load tests, and actively participate in code reviews to mentor junior engineers. Share expertise with a team of 15 Go Engineers to plan and estimate tasks while improving engineering standards and tooling. Actively participate in code reviews, share your ideas regarding available technical solutions in the ecosystem, mentor junior engineers. Write and review technical documents, communicate well in written and oral form, improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen or national, refugee, asylum, or lawful permanent residents
- Experience with our client's stack
- Go, NATS, Postgres, Redis, gRPC, NATS (messaging), Postgres, MSSQL, Docker, Nomad and Vault
- Linux
- Network switches: Dell / Aruba / some legacy cisco
- Ubuntu MAAS (dhcp, dns, pxe)
- Dell hardware servers (mostly)
- some Nutanix VM
- Strong general experience in back-end development

Desired Qualifications
- Digital manufacturing experience a great plus
