Job Summary
Monitor team milestones and costs while evaluating incoming projects for feasibility against available resources. Allocate Leading Developers to projects, coordinate with staff to identify technical delays, and escalate issues to stakeholders or management as needed. Organize team assessments, manage resource scheduling and vacation approvals, and conduct job interviews. Serve as the central contact for organizational project questions and ensure adherence to established development processes. Moderate travel is required for development evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Moderate willingness to travel (approx. 2-4 weeks per year) in order to evaluate the developments made during and after the integration and to incorporate findings into subsequent projects.
- Knowledge of employee management and conflict resolution
- Specialist knowledge in the field of software development
- Understanding of warehouse logistics procedures, processes and solutions
- Ability to process and communicate complex technical issues both orally and in writing
- Written and spoken English
- Knowledge of estimation methods established in the department for estimating effort in software development
- Very good knowledge of internal processes and tools
- Knowledge of KNAPP products and how they work in the system
- Authorization to work in the U.S
- Passport or ability to obtain passport
- Ability to travel by air domestically (US) and internationally (primarily Austria, other parts of Europe, and Canada)
- Physical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm's length, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strict adherence to KNAPP's drug-free workplace policy
- All candidates will be subject to drug-screening in accordance with the policy and will be expected to remain drug-free during their employment
