Job Summary
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Social Media Designers across London and Africa by conducting regular feedback sessions, performance reviews, and development planning. Review and approve creative output to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to brand standards while managing workload, resource allocation, and project prioritisation across multiple brands and campaigns. Provide creative direction on design systems and social-first content execution, acting as the escalation point for creative challenges and stakeholder feedback. Partner with stakeholders to align output with business objectives and identify opportunities to improve processes, templates, tools, and AI-enabled workflows. Ensure delivery deadlines are met without compromising creative excellence, including after-hours availability to support real-time sporting content.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7+ years' experience in social media design, digital design, motion design or related creative disciplines
- Previous experience mentoring, coaching or leading designers within a fast-paced environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first creative excellence across static, motion and video content
- Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, content formats and performance metrics
- Credit and criminal record check
