Job Summary
Manage the Bank's Small-Medium Enterprises portfolio by prospecting for new clients, deepening relationships with existing ones, and cross-selling products while delivering customized financial advice. Serve as a trusted advisor to analyze business needs, identify target companies, and conduct periodic capacity-building sessions to drive product adoption. Build collaborative internal and external relationships to ensure seamless client experiences, protect the Bank by adhering to sound risk management protocols and regulatory requirements, and monitor market trends to manage a disciplined marketing process. Maintain appropriate relationships with key customers to improve their product knowledge and grow the revenue base. Candidate must be resident in Port-Harcourt.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in commercial banking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- In-depth knowledge of banking products and services
- Minimum experience – 4 years relevant banking (marketing and credit) experience
- Confidence and proficiency in commercial banking operations
- Proven track record of successful client relationship management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Candidate must be resident in Port-Harcourt
