Job Summary
Shipping & Receiving Team Lead responsible for overseeing daily warehouse shipping/receiving activities, training staff on standard work, coordinating with the supervisor to resolve issues, and ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives in an FDA-regulated environment. Will manage daily work schedules, perform 5S/SQDC activities, operate forklift/pallet jack and stretch wrapper, maintain communication across shifts, and drive continuous improvement while upholding procedures and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- GED/High School Diploma
- Shipping and receiving or material handling experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Operating a forklift or a powered pallet jack
- Must have ability to work from verbal/written instructions and effectively execute from those instructions
