Job Summary
Coordinate daily production activities on the Saftea machine line, including staging raw materials, palletizing finished goods, and printing shipping labels. Inform supervisors of quality or efficiency challenges, conduct QC paperwork, and spot-check critical characteristics. Provide mentoring and training to team members while cross-training for backup coverage across all roles. Perform assembly tasks such as placing parts on fixtures, pressing fits, and visually inspecting cuffs and tubes. Maintain proper documentation using the computer and ensure adherence to food-grade safety standards and hygiene protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Able to accurately count to 50
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Must be able to wear vinyl or nitrile gloves
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
