Job Summary
Team Lead at Roots Corporation responsible for linking the leadership team with sales associates, supporting store operations, and motivating the team to exceed goals. Reports to the Store Manager and provides coverage to Store and Assistant Managers in their absence. Demonstrates customer-focused selling, builds brand loyalty through strong product knowledge, assists in onboarding and training of new associates, coaches team on customer service fundamentals, delegates tasks to maximize efficiency, ensures adherence to policies, and supports opening/closing procedures and inventory duties. Requires 1+ years of retail experience, leadership experience, POS and banking procedures familiarity, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, adaptability for varied weekly shifts including weekends and holidays, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years related experience in a retail apparel environment
- Proven ability to successfully lead a sales team
- POS management experience
- Strong organization and problem solving skills
- Available for varied weekly shifts, including weekends, closing and holidays
- Passion for upholding an exceptional customer experience
- Collaborate with others, yet be self-motivated
- Coaches associates on customer service fundamentals and provides positive feedback
