Job Summary
Manage store operations by assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with daily processing of donated goods, ensuring compliance with store policies, and maintaining accurate accounting for revenue. Drive sales results by greeting donors, processing transactions, and handling customer complaints independently when managers are unavailable. Oversee staff training on safety protocols, merchandise display standards, and customer service expectations while reporting security or theft issues to leadership. Ensure the sales floor remains neat and properly stocked by pulling racks, rearranging clothing, and removing items. This role requires a minimum of two years of retail experience, proficiency with POS systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Located at 3520 SW 34th Street, Gainesville, FL, the position is full-time and subject to closure at any time.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years prior retail experience preferred
- High School or Equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have by able to promote and ultimately be responsible for workplace safety
- Proficiency with POS reporting procedures
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Energy and enthusiasm to help others
- An openness to learn and be a team player

- Be able to perform basic skills on a computer
- Must be able to read and comprehend
- Must be able to do basic math calculations using a calculator
