Job Summary

Monitor staff to ensure performance aligns with facility standards by directing, scheduling, orienting, and training team members. Demonstrate counseling skills for individuals, families, and groups while effectively communicating orally and in writing. Coordinate case management and delegate tasks, utilizing knowledge of chemical dependency detoxification and cultural characteristics of minority groups. Maintain availability for evening and weekend hours, holding valid Arizona driver's license, first aid, CPR, and TB skin test clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Must meet one of the following requirements: 1) A bachelor's degree in a behavioral health or health related field; 2) A bachelor's degree in any field, plus one year of work experience in behavioral health service delivery; or, 3) A high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
  • Minimum one year experience with direct client care
  • Must hold a valid Arizona Driver's License
  • Must be able to drive for the company
  • Demonstrated skill in counseling individuals, families, and groups
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the target population
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of case management
  • Ability to delegate and to coordinate the work of others
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of chemical dependency detoxification and/or treatment of the severely mentally ill population
  • Knowledge of cultural characteristics of minority groups
  • Availability to work evening and weekend hours
  • Possession of first aid and CPR certification
  • Proof TB skin Test
