Job Summary
Lead Resident Advocates during overnight operations by providing daily work direction, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment, and responding to participant concerns and emergencies using trauma-informed practices. Coach and train staff while monitoring documentation, reporting requirements, and compliance standards. Collaborate with leadership and community partners to support participant success and identify opportunities to strengthen services and operations. Foster a culture grounded in Housing First, Harm Reduction, and recovery-oriented care. Work the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) Thursday through Sunday as part of a 32-hour full-time week. Join the founding team launching Avivo Village Central Minnesota to help establish the community's culture, operations, and participant experience from day one.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of four years of experience providing direct services in housing, homelessness services, behavioral health, human services, or a related field
- Ability to work overnight hours consistently
- Experience using electronic health record systems and documentation platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, or work direction
- Experience supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use disorders, or other complex barriers
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Housing First, Harm Reduction, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions during crisis situations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Commitment to culturally responsive, participant-centered services
