Job Summary

Lead and provide daily work direction to Resident Advocates during overnight operations for the new Avivo Village Central Minnesota community. Ensure a safe, welcoming, and person-centered environment while responding to participant concerns, emergencies, and crisis situations using trauma-informed and de-escalation practices. Coach, train, and support staff to promote accountability and professional growth, fostering a culture grounded in Housing First, Harm Reduction, and recovery-oriented care. Monitor documentation, reporting requirements, and compliance standards while collaborating with leadership and community partners to strengthen services and participant outcomes. Advance organizational goals to undo racism and reduce disparities. This 32-hour full-time role includes a medical health plan, HSA, dental, and 10 paid holidays, scheduled for 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) Sunday through Wednesday.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of four years of experience providing direct services in housing, homelessness services, behavioral health, human services, or a related field
  • Ability to work overnight hours consistently

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, or work direction
  • Experience supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use disorders, or other complex barriers
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn Housing First, Harm Reduction, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions during crisis situations
  • Experience using electronic health record systems and documentation platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, participant-centered services
