Job Summary
Team Lead RN on a general medical/surgical unit. Leads and coordinates nursing care, delegates tasks, and supports professional nursing practice across the care continuum. Responsibilities include direct patient care as needed, staff development and teaching, precepting, committee work, quality improvements, and participation in evidence-based practice and research. Role requires RN licensure, BLS, TN sponsorship eligibility, and an associate degree or diploma in nursing (with requirements for BSN completion within specified timelines for certain entry-level associates). Flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and on-call may be required. Campuses include Mayo Clinic locations in Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ; Jacksonville, FL; and Rochester, MN; with multiple global qualifications and EMR proficiency expected.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an associate degree or diploma in a nursing program
- One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is also required
- Current RN licensure by applicable state requirements
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA/ARC/US Military Training Network
