Job Summary
Lead and coordinate the Bank's long-term strategy for the public sector team, formulating and implementing new business and investment strategies. Drive strategy implementation across corporate, commercial, SME, and Personal Banking groups while tracking performance against targets and mitigating risks. Develop comprehensive plans for improvement, expansion, and long-range goals to enhance fund attraction and balance sheet growth. Oversee strategic business development and relationship management within the Public Sector Group, including Federal, State governments, and parastatals. Represent the Bank in government and regulatory matters to create visibility. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of relevant banking experience, and proficiency in Public Sector operations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in Public Sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- In-depth knowledge of banking products and services
- Minimum experience – 5 years relevant banking (marketing and credit) experience
- Confidence and proficiency in Public Sector/ Private banking operations
- Proven track record of successful client relationship management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
