Job Summary
Lead a team of Senior Portfolio Asset Managers and Analysts to oversee financial performance, P&L responsibility, and annual budgeting for a renewable energy portfolio exceeding 1 GW. Enhance core processes, automate interactions, and manage project financial matters while supporting resolution of major plant outages. Serve as the Owner's Representative, ensuring strict compliance with Power Purchase Agreements, hedge agreements, and regulatory filings including EIA, CEC, and FERC. Prepare recurring performance reports, optimize financial results, and manage stakeholder relationships with investors, authorities, and contractors. Collaborate with development and construction teams to ensure smooth project transitions. Based in Louisville, CO with 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5+ years of relevant energy industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate work while coaching and mentoring others
- Exceptional organizational, decision making/problem solving, analytical and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Strong learning skills with aptitude to independently research, understand, and implement knowledge in new areas
- Strong commercial mindset
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize work
- Creative thinker
- Ability to manage relationships with colleagues and contractors
- Strong understanding of project finance, legal contracts, accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Office
- Able to demonstrate experience dealing successfully with peers, subordinates, senior management, and unaffiliated third parties
- Passion for renewable energy industry
- Intimate knowledge of the renewable energy market
- Ability to stay current with changing technologies, regulations, and trends influencing the continued adoption of renewable energy
- BA/BS degree required with concentration in business, finance, accounting, economics, and/or other quantitative fields
- MBA or similar Masters degree preferred
- Based in Louisville, CO
- Travel will be required between offices and some travel to sites
- Approximately 10% travel
