Job Summary
Oversee operations of Centralized Medication Adherence Program Pharmacy Technicians, including maintaining training and periodic competency evaluations. Conduct telephonic outreaches to answer calls regarding medication adherence, refill requests, and clarification, while obtaining member permission to place refill requests via phone or web systems. Coordinate onboarding trainings for new Pharmacy Technicians and participate in the hiring process as needed. Access medication adherence gap portals to review member charts and determine appropriate actions for pharmacy refill requests. Collaborate with providers and care teams to resolve medication use discrepancies, ensuring all tasks are documented accurately and in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards. Attend staff meetings to provide input on trends, process evaluation, and quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED)
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with a state board of pharmacy
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Minimum of one (1) year of CMS Quality measures or Medication Adherence
- Ability to travel on occasion for company meetings
