Team Lead, Network & Voice at NTT DATA leading a developing management role; guides a team of network engineers and specialists to design, implement, and maintain a robust and efficient network infrastructure. The Senior Team Lead, Network Engineering also drives collaboration, sets technical standards, and mentors team members. Responsibilities include designing and architecting LAN/WAN/data centre/cloud networks, ensuring designs meet business needs and best practices, providing technical guidance during design/configuration/implementation, overseeing deployment and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers, leading projects with resource planning and timely delivery, optimizing network performance with QoS and traffic analysis, collaborating with systems admins, security, developers, and stakeholders, enforcing governance and security policies, managing vendor relationships and contracts, planning capacity for growth, and promoting continuous learning and innovation. Required skills include solid networking concepts and protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, QoS), strong documentation and communication, project/resource/budget management, and people-management capabilities. Educational and certification notes include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Network Administration certifications (Azure, Google, Amazon) preferred; CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or Juniper equivalents preferred. Experience in leading and managing networking teams and in cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is valued.
