Job Summary
Coordinate break/fix, configuration updates, and technology upgrades for enterprise LANs, WANs, unified communications, and video streaming services. Lead Tier 2 Network Operations by managing ticket acceptance, resolution, and closure for routers, switches, and cryptographic devices. Conduct root cause analyses, perform incident analysis, and execute approved network changes including VLAN, ACL, and port assignments. Execute IOS and routing/switching equipment upgrades while drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Support site surveys, engineering designs, and new network implementation projects in remote locations requiring independent problem-solving. Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 10+ years of experience, and CCNA certification.
Required Qualifications
- IAT II (Ex: Security+)
- CCNA
- Active TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph prior to starting
- 10+ Years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in applicable field (substitutable for 5 years of experience)
- Familiarity with both Cisco and Juniper network devices
- Strong working knowledge of the various routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x)
- In-depth knowledge of KG-175 Series TACLANES configuration process, fault isolation, and firmware upgrade procedures
- Working knowledge of Cisco-ISE
