Job Summary
Lead donor collection teams, perform phlebotomy using automation systems, and operate a mobile drive vehicle to transport staff and supplies across collection sites. Prepare collection sites, execute donor screening and mini-physicals, and manage donor reactions while maintaining product integrity. Train and mentor team members, conduct root cause analysis on quality discrepancies, and drive automation conversion goals. Ensure full compliance with DOT guidelines, regulatory policies, and safety standards. Requires valid driver's license, 3+ years phlebotomy experience, and ability to work independently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- GED
- combination of a health care degree, certification
- 1-3 years 3 or more years relevant experience
- 4-6 years Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience
- Valid drivers' license
- prior driving experience
- Demonstration of effective problems solving and good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other department manuals
- basic mathematical aptitude
- Ability to apply judgment to written or oral instructions
- Ability to organize work to provide productive work flow
