Job Summary
Team Lead in Medical Affairs responsible for providing tactical and strategic inputs to Product Management for ethical promotion, designing medical-marketing programs, coordinating with healthcare professionals, developing and approving clinical protocols and materials, delivering medical information to internal and external stakeholders, training the Sales Force, building therapeutic-area expertise, and supporting budgeting and operations within Global Generics India. Excellent leadership and budgeting skills, with 6-10 years of medical affairs experience including 2-3 years in people management, postgraduate degree in Pharmacology or Medicine, and strong communication, medical writing, and analytical abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Pharmacology or other Medical specialty
- Graduate degree in Medicine
- Minimum work experience 6-10 years in medical affairs
- At least 2-3 years in a people management role
- Experience in medical strategy, clinical programs, and ethical promotion of products
- Knowledge of clinical trial design and methodology
- Strong medical writing and presentation skills
- Ability to train sales force on basic sciences and product training
- Ability to develop medical expertise in therapeutic areas
- Budgeting and expense control experience
- Interpersonal and networking skills
- Analytical reasoning and sound medical judgment
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
