Job Summary
Senior Team Lead for mechanical engineering of ruggedized electronic systems (Control Units, Power, Computing modules) in Spain. Lead local engineering team (2 engineers), coordinate with Thailand-based subsystem teams, manage BOM and requirements compliance, oversee design validation and thermal management, and ensure system integration and packaging for VPX 3U platforms with IP65 sealing. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, 5+ years in electronics packaging mechanical design, leadership experience, andStrong SolidWorks skills. Proficiency in MIL-STD-810/DO-160, IP65 design, and English communication for international teams is required. Experience in defense/aerospace contexts and VPX modular architectures is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for electronics packaging
- Experience leading technical teams or managing work packages
- SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation proficiency
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 and DO-160 standards
- IP65 environment design experience
- Thermal management in sealed enclosures (conduction cooling)
- English language proficiency for international collaboration
