Job Summary
Team Lead, Market Operations in York, PA leads and develops a Customer Advocate team within Carvana’s hub, driving market launch/operations, logistics, consumer branding, and performance. Responsibilities include interviewing, onboarding and training Customer Advocates; providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and goal setting; recognizing team achievements; generating regular performance reports for upper management; hands-on support with car delivery and customer experience; identifying process improvements to enhance operations; addressing complex customer-facing issues; and ensuring weekend coverage. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in a customer-facing team environment, 3+ years of management experience, a track record of coaching employees, and strong leadership and analytical skills; Salesforce/Tableau experience and willingness to work in a fast-paced startup atmosphere are also noted as favorable. Requires ability to read/write in English, withstand physical activity, and, for certain states, obtain a salesperson license within two weeks of employment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years work experience in a customer facing team environment
- 3+ years of management experience
- Proven history of developing and coaching employees
- Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and guiding teams to exceed goals
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems with varying complexity while maintaining focus on the customer experience
- Willingness to work on weekends
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Experience with Salesforce or Tableau (preferred)
- An analytical mind
- Experience handling logistics
