Job Summary
Oversee daily production and logistics operations during shifts while implementing safety responsibility rules and assessing workflow improvements with the Operation Coach. Create new processes to maximize efficiencies, execute sound problem-solving practices, and communicate mission-critical information clearly up and down the reporting structure. Provide mentorship and training to Plant Team Members, backfill gaps in buying, inventory management, and switching, and exceed KPI targets through team-based leadership. Maintain a positive, proactive approach to running the plant and yard while assuring the highest level of quality in all tasks. Build a culture of diversity, inclusion, fairness, and high standards with all personnel.
Required Qualifications
- 2 plus years experience leading a team of individuals in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to serve and to lead
- Must be able to perform to all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations
