Job Summary
Schedule and plan daily assignments for maintenance technicians, perform on-site service and repair of process equipment, and troubleshoot energy sources while implementing preventative maintenance programs. Mentor junior technicians in repair procedures, write specifications for repairs, and accurately report all work orders in the Oracle system. Order spare parts, interface with vendors, and identify cost-saving opportunities while adhering to OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards. Requires 5-10 years of maintenance experience and ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings. No direct reports; reports to Maintenance Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to read schematics
- Must have basic electronic troubleshooting skills
- Must have vacuum troubleshooting skills
- Must have leak detection skills
- Must be able to read prints
- Must be able to suggest modifications as required
- Must be able to read electrical & mechanical drawings
- Must be able to read technical manuals
- Must have proven Electro/Mechanical skills
- Must have knowledge of Electrical systems
- Must have knowledge of Mechanical systems
- Must have knowledge of Vacuum Systems
- Must have knowledge of Laser operations
- Must have knowledge of Building Codes
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day
- Must be able to climb stairs on a frequent basis
- Must be able to lift up to 58 pounds on an occasional basis
- Must be able to lift up to 37 pounds on a frequent basis
- Must be able to push or pull up to 27 pounds of force on an occasional basis
- Must be able to push or pull up to 10 pounds of force on a frequent basis
- Must be able to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects repetitively on a frequent basis
- Must have 20/40 vision in each eye (with or without correction)
- Must be able to distinguish between red, yellow, and green

- Must have proven knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Must have knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have basic understanding of SPC and Process Control Techniques
- Must have proven Communications Skills (written and verbal)
- Must have Proven Electro/Mechanical skills
- Must have knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Vacuum Systems and Laser operations
- Must have knowledge of Building Codes

- Must have 2 years' experience with Degree in a mechanical or electrical discipline
- Must have 5-10 years' maintenance experience
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year technical school in electrical and maintenance field
- 3-year associate degree or equivalent program in a technical discipline
- Leadership or previous supervisory experience
- Project Leader and previous supervisory experience
- Must have 2 years' experience with Degree in a mechanical or electrical discipline
