Job Summary
Team Lead at a child care center focused on guiding and growing preschool children. Responsibilities include promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth; leading classroom management and curriculum implementation (classroom instruction at least 50% of weekly schedule); communicating with families to promote child achievement; mentoring and training new hires; stepping into Director/Assistant Director duties in absence; and ensuring daily care follows licensing guidelines and company standards. Requires experience in a licensed childcare facility, ability to meet state/accreditation requirements, and ability to engage with children indoors or outdoors. Compensation ranges from $21.05 to $21.87 per hour plus benefits; schedule is Monday-Friday with health insurance, paid time-off, 401K, and education assistance available for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a licensed childcare facility
- Leading a classroom
- Implementing lesson plans
- Able to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
- 18+ years old
- College credits towards ECE or CDA (preferred)
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
- Must be able to promote health, safety, and licensing guidelines
