Job Summary
Coordinate assignments of operators and machinists to ensure efficient production while assisting in manufacturing process planning. Operate assigned CNC lathe and milling equipment, monitoring quality output and troubleshooting tooling problems to maintain production standards. Lead the team in achieving safety, cost, and compliance goals under ISO: 9001:2000 and AS9100 standards, including training new employees and conducting performance reviews. Update machine programs and communicate irregularities across shifts to ensure continuity. Work in Franklin, USA, with a pay range of $34-$39 plus bonus, requiring five years of manufacturing experience and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Five years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be familiar with CNC machine tools and functions, programming and editing lathe and/or milling machines
- Must be familiar with all phases of metal fabrication, assembly and equipment
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures including lean manufacturing principles and techniques
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts, including basic trigonometry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including coaching, mentoring, and developing employees; fostering positive and productive working relationships; effectively managing team performance; and utilizing strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to build trust, collaborate across teams, manage relationships effectively, and create a positive and inclusive work environment
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational technical certification is preferred
- Experience using MRP system (SAP)
