Team Lead Kitchen

Job Summary
Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent execution of food and timely service by directing the team. Manage and oversee direct reports, demonstrate knowledge of all positions under supervision, and cover roles as needed. Uphold health, safety and sanitation guidelines, ensure stations are stocked and organized, perform line checks, and enforce proper time clock practices and uniforms. Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams, support opening/closing duties, collaborate with team members, and adapt to varying volumes with a positive attitude. Assist the Kitchen Manager with projects and administrative tasks while ensuring quality and safety standards are met and ongoing compliance with Covid-19 and other illness prevention guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A team player with a positive attitude
- 2+ years in a line cook position at a casual restaurant or similar experience, supervisory experience is a plus
- Attention to detail
- Proficient knowledge of food, cooking and kitchen equipment
- Proficiency in English is preferred, must be able to read tickets on a screen
- Food handlers certification
