Job Summary
Conduct beginning-of-shift meetings, coordinate workflow, and provide guidance to team members to maintain efficiency. Monitor safety practices, ensure compliance with policies, and assist in training operators while identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies. Support quality control efforts by promptly identifying issues, maintain accurate documentation of shift activities and production metrics, and communicate effectively with supervisors to relay updates. Operate forklifts, read blueprints, and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals. Perform duties in a manufacturing environment requiring frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Software
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Must have ability to pass and operate forklift
- Must be able to frequently walk, stand, climb up and climb down stairs, and use hands and fingers
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to wear PPE that includes steel toed shoes, safety glasses and maybe ear plugs
