Job Summary
Conduct daily janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, restroom servicing, and trash removal while leading by example. Assist supervisors with facility operations, coordinate daily assignments, and help train new employees on cleaning procedures and company expectations. Ensure assigned areas meet quality standards by conducting routine inspections and reporting deficiencies. Communicate employee concerns, maintenance issues, and customer requests to management. Utilize company systems to document inspections and manage supply inventory. This role supports a government facility where professionalism and adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and customers
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass any required federal background investigation
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
- Must be able to lift 20lbs
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Knowledge of commercial custodial practices and cleaning procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
