Team Lead

Team Lead role focusing on accounting and financial close processes in India. Responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries (including accruals, prepayments, amortization, and adjustments), managing accounting for operational and employee-related costs (fringe, stock compensation, and other expenses), recording management fee accruals, performing intercompany accounting and validation across entities, supporting cash and banking transactions, maintaining schedules (subcontractor analysis, intangibles, debt rollforwards), executing month-end and year-end close within defined timelines, performing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting financial reporting and variance analysis for management, and assisting in statutory/internal audits and compliance with proper documentation and audit trails. Requires 10+ years of accounting experience, ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle/PeopleSoft), strong Excel/financial analysis skills, and willingness to handle ad hoc projects. Education requirements include BCom/MCom and MBA Finance; additional preferences include US GAAP/IFRS knowledge and CA/ICWA/CS intermediate qualifications.
