Direct daily operations for the department including merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, stocking, and customer service activities. Provide direction to associates, prepare task lists, and execute merchandising directives while maintaining planograms. Coordinate staff interviews, training, and weekly schedules to support sales, gross margin, shrinkage, and payroll goals. Resolve customer and associate issues, conduct product demos, and promote programs like CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up. Ensure accurate pricing, UPC integrity, and proper assortment of advertised items. Maintain a positive, harassment-free environment and achieve better-than-average customer service results through surveys and secret shops.
