Team Lead- Foreclosure & Default Operations

Job Summary
Manage and prioritize team workflow to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. Provide guidance on departmental procedures, client requirements, and compliance standards while conducting quality reviews and spot checks. Serve as the first point of contact for team questions, issues, and escalations. Coach and mentor team members to encourage professional development, assist with onboarding and process updates, and maintain accurate documentation in internal systems. Escalate operational concerns to management and support audits, reporting initiatives, and workflow improvement projects. Maintain a portfolio of files during high-volume periods and assist with client status updates and scorecard rebuttals.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, creditor rights, mortgage servicing, or related legal operations
- Proven ability to manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of quality standards, compliance requirements, and client scorecards
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or providing leadership support to team members
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and identify operational trends
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work at a desk and computer for extended periods
- Visual ability to review documents and electronic records
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic communication
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment, including computers, scanners, and copiers
- Mobility to move throughout an office environment as needed
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a Team Lead, Senior Specialist, or Supervisory Support role
- Experience working in foreclosure law firms, bankruptcy operations, creditor rights practices, or mortgage default servicing
- Familiarity with Perfect Practice or other legal case management platforms
