Job Summary
Coordinate daily task assignments, training, and onboarding for Food and Nutrition team members while ensuring readiness of supplies and equipment. Lead or support team huddles, shift briefings, and communication across the department to maintain consistent service delivery. Conduct quality checks, performance audits, and peer coaching to enforce safety standards and correct issues in real time. Manage inventory, organize materials, and operate kitchen equipment while adhering to local health regulations and safety requirements. Demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail in high-pressure care areas, requiring the ability to climb ladders, stand for long periods, and lift up to 80 lbs. Achieve ServSafe Manager Certification within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- ServSafe Manager Certification within 6 months of hire
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
- Adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption
- Ability to climb ladders
- Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred
