Job Summary
Lead daily kitchen operations and direct a team to execute consistent food preparation and timely service in a casual restaurant setting. Oversee opening/closing duties, ensure proper time clock practices and uniform compliance, manage direct reports, maintain knowledge of menu ingredients and preparation, support the Kitchen Manager with projects and administrative tasks, enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, ensure stations are stocked, clean, and organized, perform line checks for quality and safety, and collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams while fostering teamwork. Role requires 2+ years in a line cook position with supervisory experience as a plus, proficiency in English, ability to read tickets, and a food handlers certification; health and safety standards and Covid-19 guidelines must be followed.
