Job Summary
Manufacturing Team Lead overseeing daily production operations on the 2nd shift (4pm-12:30am). Responsible for supervising the manufacturing team, preparing the production floor, monitoring processes to meet targets, troubleshooting equipment to minimize downtime, and training/mentoring staff on processes and safety. Conduct regular quality checks, maintain production records (inventory and work orders), coordinate with other departments, ensure compliance with safety and industry standards, and participate in continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
