Job Summary
Team Lead Data Engineering responsible for leading a Data Engineering squad, overseeing data pipelines (batch and real-time) across the data platform (Data Lake, DWH), ensuring data quality and regulatory outputs, translating business requirements into technical delivery plans, and partnering with Product Managers, Architects, and stakeholders. Requires hands-on expertise with big data technologies (AWS Redshift, S3, EMR; Airflow, Kafka, Spark, Iceberg, Hudi), strong ETL/ELT skills, coding in Java/Scala/Python, Linux, Kubernetes, and a proven leadership/mentorship track record. The role emphasizes security, compliance, automation, and continuous improvement, with relocation support to Malta and an indefinite contract.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), or a closely related quantitative field
