Job Summary
Lead a multidisciplinary team delivering design, delivery, and client engagement for datacenter-focused electrical infrastructure; balance hands-on technical execution with mentorship, coaching, and ownership of delivery, while maintaining regular client interaction and ensuring adherence to NEI’s engineering standards and QA/QC processes. Responsibilities include guiding scope, budgets, value engineering opportunities, field support during construction and commissioning, and collaboration with project managers on risks and delivery schedules. Require a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in industrial/oil & gas/power systems, strong leadership and communication skills, and US work authorization. Preferred credentials include PE/FE, PMP, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and experience in power delivery, substations, and large-scale infrastructure. Travel 15–25% and hybrid/remote work options depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in industrial, oil & gas or power systems related environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical work and mentor engineers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality work in technically complex environments
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
