Job Summary
Team Lead for ECS Application Security in Fidelity’s cloud-first environment. You will set technical standards, define and drive the team roadmap, mentor engineers and analysts, and deliver enterprise-scale secure software. Responsibilities include leading team strategy, workforce planning, and performance goals; owning roadmaps and ensuring impactful, customer-focused outcomes; driving Secure-SDLC adoption (secrets management, SAST, SCA, DAST); improving automation, test coverage, release velocity, and production health; enforcing technical standards and architectural guidance; partnering with leadership across engineering, business, and operations to align security priorities; and staying ahead of threats through metrics and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years in IT and 5+ years in people & technical leadership
- Proven track record delivering scalable, cloud-native software with Secure-SDLC practices
- Strong foundation in systems architecture, SDLC, Agile, AWS, and DevSecOps
- Data-driven mindset, experience driving strategic decisions through analytics and metrics
- Excellent communicator and influencer; skilled in stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration
- Passion for coaching, able to elevate junior and senior team members alike
- Practical experience setting strategic vision and delivering on roadmaps
- Expertise in application security tools e.g. secrets scanning, SAST, DAST, SCA
