Job Summary
Lead the Credit Control team in Asia, owning the Credit Control Business Plan and supervising day-to-day operations to ensure timely collection of unsettled debt, accurate cash allocation, and reliable reporting. Responsible for analyzing credit control data, maintaining ledgers, reconciling broker/co-insurer/R/I statements, and escalating unresolved cash issues. Build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders, manage performance, and guide a team to meet targets and quality service. Emphasizes hybrid/flexible working arrangements and a strong focus on data-driven decision making within an insurance/finance environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years finance or accounting experience
- Significant experience of working in a credit control team
- Experience within Insurance environment
- Data handling and manipulation
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Systems skills to use and further develop Credit Control database and reporting systems
- Strong people management skills
- Ability to recognize budgets and be measured against them
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and work under pressure
- Knowledge of IT systems such as Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
- Very good knowledge of Credit Control functions, processes and systems
- Knowledge of external Finance Providers and portal
