Job Summary
Lead respiratory care operations at St. Louis Children’s Hospital: plan and coordinate staffing and workloads for the respiratory team; oversee daily clinical activities, perform and supervise diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures, and serve as a resource and liaison to staff, physicians, and families. Requires an AC/CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program, RRT credential, 2–5 years of experience, and BCLS. Role emphasizes multi-tasking, teamwork under pressure, and maintaining high-quality, safe patient care during 6:00am–6:00pm shifts on a 3/12 schedule with every 3rd weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Assoc or CoARC Accredited Program in Respiratory Therapy
- 2-5 years of experience
- Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS)
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT)
- Respiratory Therapist certification or credentialing
