Job Summary
Lead the respiratory care team at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, overseeing staffing and workloads while guiding daily operations and resource allocation. Perform and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures, apply clinical knowledge to support patient care, and serve as a resource and liaison to leadership, the medical team, patients, and families. Foster a team-based environment, maintain high-quality, safe care, and demonstrate ongoing professional development and effective communication during stressful periods. Requires RRT with 2-5 years of experience, an associate/coARC-accredited respiratory therapy program, and BCLS/RRT credentials; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business/related field. Work schedule includes full-time days (3/12s per week with every third weekend) at a pediatric hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Assoc or CoARC Accredited Prog - Respiratory Therapy
- 2-5 years experience
- Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS)
- RRT
- Respiratory Therapy licensure or credentialing
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Business/related)
