Job Summary
Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration. Use critical thinking to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, then develop individual plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Evaluate patient response and modify care plans throughout the stay while participating in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation from an accredited nursing school to remain employed. This safety-sensitive position requires a constant state of alertness. Required Qualifications
- BSN
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing
- Will be required to obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation from an accredited school of nursing to remain employed in a HSO in the state of Missouri
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care
