Job Summary
Onboard and train new hires, conduct performance reviews, and track compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor daily workloads, assign cases, and mediate difficult resident disputes while handling high-risk escalations. Provide on-going case management support for residents, including budgeting assistance, appointment accompaniment, and crisis intervention. Maintain case records, data entry, and housing unit inspections using HUD guidelines. Prepare quarterly reports and conduct weekly case reviews with stakeholders. This full-time 32-hour/week position requires a current driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with required experience
- 4 years of experience working in the human services field and/or Case Management Experience
- Experience with low income chronically homeless, youth, substance use, serious mental illness, DV survivors, veterans, and/or HIV/Aids populations needed
- Must have knowledge of entitlement benefits programs and resources available for vulnerable populations
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups
- Computer literacy and database experience in excel and access helpful
- Must have current driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be regularly required to talk or hear
- Must frequently be required to stand; walk; under hand to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, or climb
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in human services related field (social work, psychology, or mental health counseling)
- CASAC, or other relevant certifications highly recommended
