Job Summary
Lead and develop the Building Safety team at the Mannheim site, ensuring the availability of critical systems like fire alarm installations through proactive risk management. Manage resource allocation and prioritize tasks to maintain operational readiness under changing conditions while translating the Future Site Now vision into actionable transformation steps. Act as the primary guarantor for regulatory and internal safety compliance, coordinating closely with project teams and management to ensure seamless communication. Support the team as a subject matter expert on complex automation and security challenges to drive innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field
- Vocational training (Techniker/Meister) with multi-year further education
- Long-term experience in building automation or security technology
- Fundamental leadership experience
- Ability to motivate people, foster their strengths, and create an environment for a growth mindset
- Entrepreneurial thinking
- Ability to prioritize complex requirements and make efficient decisions in line with site strategy
- Advanced digitalization competence
- Enjoyment of designing processes for future-proofing through new technologies
- Negotiation-level English
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Ability to explain complex relationships clearly
- Willingness to view occasional business trips between Mannheim and Penzberg as an enrichment
