Job Summary
Lead and develop the BDR team for the Digital SME/Mid-Market segment, own the team's pipeline contribution to revenue (meetings booked, qualified opportunities, conversion to closed-won), set cadence and quality standards, recruit and retain BDR talent, and build an AI-native outbound engine. Design and evolve an outbound motion around AI agents, autonomous sequencing, and signal-based prospecting; lead adoption of AI tooling; partner with RevOps to instrument the funnel; stay ahead with emerging AI tools and tactics. Co-own the SME/Mid-Market pipeline plan with Marketing, ensure high-quality handovers with Sales, and feed market intelligence back to Product Marketing. Build the playbook for ICP, messaging frameworks, qualification standards, and scalable org design to support a multi-pod, multi-market BDR organization. Requirements include 3–6 years in B2B SaaS sales development with leadership experience, a proven SME/Mid-Market pipeline track record, data-driven operating rigour, and English fluency (German, Spanish, Italian, French or Dutch strongly preferred).
Required Qualifications
- AI-native mindset and demonstrable experience
- 3–6 years in B2B SaaS sales development with at least 1–2 years leading or managing a BDR/SDR team
- Track record of building pipeline in the SME/Mid-Market segment
- Operational rigour with funnel maths, attribution, and forecast accuracy
- Fluent in English; strongly preferred German, Spanish, Italian, French or Dutch
