Job Summary
Lead complaint investigation activities for blood glucose meters, ensuring investigations are conducted according to procedures and completed in a timely manner. Monitor people and processes to improve investigation efficiency, while tracking returned product, calibration, and validation of test equipment. Identify trends in product complaints and manage resources to meet division goals for timeliness. Assist the Lab Supervisor with performance evaluations and administrative duties. This role supports 5 to 20 non-exempt staff and is critical for meeting FDA and corporate audit requirements. Based onsite in Alameda, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Equivalent experience is defined as 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience with complaints investigations in a regulated environment
- Knowledge of the FDA/QSR regulation and ISO 13485 standard
- Must be able to effectively lead a large staff of non-exempt employees including full-time and contract workers
- Excellent communications skills
- Must also be able to act autonomously and make decisions regarding the need to pursue further investigation vs. bring closure to an investigation
Desired Qualifications
- An understanding of ADC products is ideal
