Job Summary
Oversee janitorial teams across multiple locations by leading nightly sanitation crews and serving as the on-site liaison when managers are unavailable. Conduct morning walkthroughs with store managers, complete daily checklists with photos, and submit detailed reports on team performance, incidents, and site conditions. Enforce safety protocols, verify equipment storage and propane tank security, and ensure all tools are properly maintained and ready for the next shift. Monitor attendance, escalate operational concerns to site operations or quality managers, and provide end-of-shift updates to supervisors. Requires a high school degree, 1-2 years of lead experience, bilingual skills, and ability to work night shifts and travel.
Required Qualifications
- HS degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years of previous lead experience in janitorial or custodial services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead by example and work alongside team members
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
- Must be able to work night shifts
- Must be able to travel to assigned store locations
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 + pounds
- Ability to effectively communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers
- Hearing and vision within normal ranges
- Must be able to operate forklifts/pallet jacks as needed
- Must be willing to work different shifts when the business need arises
