Job Summary
Team Lead-2nd Shift Robot to support department training plans, quality checks, lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance activities with the department, ensuring safe and timely production, guiding employee activities including evaluations and corrective actions, analyzing value-stream issues for resolution, communicating daily updates to Value Stream Leaders, preparing and updating standard work instructions, and performing duties in the plant up to 80% of the time. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in manufacturing; must be able to read blueprints and tape measures, operate hand/power tools, and lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly with exposure to moving mechanical parts and hot environment. Familiarity with ISO-9000 procedures, KPI goals, and strong teamwork and safety discipline are expected. The company provides forklift and pallet jack training as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- 2+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as policies and procedures, work instructions and standards
- Ability to communicate verbally with co-workers in a productive manner
- Ability to lead and direct the work of others
- Ability to work as a team member to achieve overall Company objectives
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information
